Originally a working-class neighborhood, today it is considered one of the hippest areas in Copenhagen, where many young people and families with children live and work, a neighborhood full of urban life and atmosphere.
At Andersen Hotel we offer a complimentary glass of wine every day between 17:00 & 18:00. The wine is served in our lobby lounge and gives you the opportunity to meet other guests and employees.

CatherineMarch 16, 2026Confirmed AMAZING!!! What a charming little hotel!!! Just a short walk from Central Station and Tivoli Gardens. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful or polite and made everyone feel welcome—wine hour was such a lovely gesture, and we Brits love a freebie, and on top of that, the “honesty bar.” The rooms themselves are a bit small but perfectly adequate for a few days in the city, and breakfast was plentiful, mostly continental. We would have no hesitation in returning to this hotel. kathrynbrookesMarch 15, 2026Confirmed A hotel with a warmwelcome A wonderful boutique hotel near the main train station. We received a very warm welcome, even though it was late at night. The woman at the front desk was thorough in explaining all the check-in details to us. The room had unique and bright furnishings. A comfortable bed! The lobby was spacious, modern, and had a very welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. A great welcome at 5:00 p.m. every afternoon, with free wine in the lobby for an hour. What a perfect way to end a day of exploring the wonderful city center. A generous and delicious breakfast. The staff were all so friendly and helpful whenever we needed information. I can’t praise this hotel enough. I would definitely stay there again and recommend it. Mileoak SeagullMarch 8, 2026Confirmed Good—could be amazing. We stayed three nights, booked through EasyJet. We had a basic double room. It was small, with just enough space to move around the bed. The bathroom wasn’t as nice as the photos and was a bit bland. The buffet breakfast was of good quality. What let the hotel down: Inconsistent communication. We arrived early and were able to store our luggage until check-in. We were told check-in was at 3:00 PM, but later heard other guests were told 2:00 PM. Room upgrades seemed to be given out at random. Towels were rough, and the toilet paper was cheap and felt like sandpaper. The street the hotel is on is sketchy at night, with a hostel across the street, a night shelter next door, and drug dealers hanging around. The door to the staircase is key card-controlled, but the elevator isn’t. The reception staff barely look up. Overall, good location for the station and the Meatpacking District. KimJ_MarkRMarch 7, 2026Confirmed Perfect hotel in an excellentlocation Stayed here for a couple of nights—what a great choice! Perfectly located near the train station and a great base for exploring the city, plus it’s reasonably priced. The staff were a credit to the hotel—so friendly and helpful. Beautifully decorated throughout, the room was excellent with lots of little extras that really made our stay perfect. Breakfast was very good, with so much choice. Happy hour every day with a free glass of wine! Unfortunately, we couldn’t take advantage of it, but there’s also an honesty bar, which is such a good idea. We loved Copenhagen and can’t wait to go back; we would definitely stay here again. odette MFebruary 8, 2026Confirmed Conviviale Excellent hotel near the central station, everything can be done on foot. The breakfast is perfect and varied. At 5 p.m., you can enjoy a complimentary aperitif, and coffee and water are available all day long. The rooms are small but comfortable. We had a great time with the family. James BJanuary 12, 2026Confirmed Excellent hotel in a very central location! Fantastic hotel - 5 minutes walk from Copenhagen Central Station (15 minutes from the Airport). Great food, superb team and a free glass of wine every day - wonderful. A few minutes walk from plenty of restaurants and bars. Highly recommend! Pret CJanuary 7, 2026Confirmed AdorableHotel Anderson Hotel is the center of coziness. The hotel lobby is a cozy hangout area. You can make yourself a hot beverage, play games, knit scarves, and relax. Breakfast has many options. The room was cozy and they provided soft robes. Most days, we walked, but it's a quick metro ride to other areas. If you want Tivoli tickets, you can purchase them at the front desk. The hotel was a great place to return to after walking 7 miles in the cold. SPJanuary 4, 2026Confirmed Perfect for a couple visitingCopenhagen Lovely hotel. Great central location. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean rooms. Free glass of wine each day between 5 and 6pm was a nice touch. Samantha1974September 16, 2025Confirmed Wonderful boutique hotel I have just returned from a wonderful 3 night break with my mum. This is lovely hotel in a great location. Staff were all so polite and friendly. Plenty of choice at breakfast. The happy hour from 5-6pm was great. You were offered a free glass of wine or soft drink. There were also pastries available. Our room, although small was comfortable. Perfect location, just 5 minute walk to train station. The airport is only 15 minutes, 3 stops away. We also went to Malmö for the day which only takes 40 minutes. Tivoli gardens is only a 10 minute walk away and a must see on a trip to Copenhagen. We will definitely return one day and stay at this wonderful hotel.
