Originally a working-class neighborhood, today it is considered one of the hippest areas in Copenhagen, where many young people and families with children live and work, a neighborhood full of urban life and atmosphere.

Ian PApril 28, 2026Confirmed Great Location, Atmosphere, and Room From the moment we walked in and met Mia at the front desk, we knew weâd chosen a great hotel. She was so welcoming and offered all the help we needed in a friendly and efficient manner. The room (a wonderful double) was light, bright, and had everything we needed. Breakfast was fabulous, with everything you could want and fantastic coffeeâwhich you could have all dayâno trying to squeeze every last dollar out of you, just creating a space for guests to enjoy. As mentioned in many of the reviews, the free drinks from 5 to 6 created such a fantastic vibe in the hotel, as many guests came for them and then stayed for a couple more⊠We wouldnât stay anywhere else the next time we go to Copenhagen Aiko JApril 26, 2026Confirmed Lovely hotel Andersen Hotel is located near Copenhagen Central Station and is very convenient. The hotel was lovely, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our breakfast every morning. Delicious Danish pastries. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Copenhagen. DarrenApril 23, 2026Confirmed City Break We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and couldnât have been happier with our choice. All the staff were extremely friendly. They couldnât have been more helpful. It was the little touches that made this hotel such a pleasant place to stay, like the sweets and cookies on every windowsill, the availability of coffee all day, and happy hour with a free glass of wine between 5 and 6 p.m., which created a welcoming atmosphere. Everything was within walking distance, and being just five minutes from the train station made it very convenient. It was also a 10-minute walk from Tivoli Gardens and close to the Meatpacking District. Although the rooms are a bit small, they are comfortable, clean, and nicely decorated, and the beds were very comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a short stay in Copenhagen, as it is safe, conveniently located with everything within walking distance, and has everything you need as a base for exploring the city. CharlotteApril 20, 2026Confirmed Ideal location with a modern vibe We were staying across the street at the âAbsalonâ sister hotel and decided to stop by here to compare the two properties. We received a warm welcome and decided to stay for a drink. The hotel operates an honesty bar system where guests write down their room number and the drinks theyâve had. As walk-in visitors, we didnât realize this until after weâd poured our drinks, so we arranged to pay at the front desk instead. While itâs an interesting concept, it doesnât really encourage non-residents to stop by for a drink, so they may be missing out on an opportunity for extra business. After taking a look around, the hotel appeared very modern and quite dark in style, with a nightclub-like feel. This created a completely different vibe and atmosphere compared to the hotel across the street. It confirmed for us that we had made the right choice regarding where we were staying. The location is excellent, being very close to the train station. Despite being in the red-light district, we never saw any homeless people or experienced any trouble in the area. In my opinion, this hotel would be better suited to younger guests looking for a modern and vibrant environment, rather than those who prioritize comfort and a more relaxed atmosphere. I still canât figure out why itâs more expensive to stay here! AurĂ© LieApril 18, 2026Confirmed Top-notch! A top-notchhotel! I highly recommend this hotel, where we stayed for four nights (two adults and two teenagers). Spacious room, practical bathroom, and a hearty breakfast. Ideal location: two minutes from the central station and the metro, and 15 minutes from the airport. Thank you to the young French man for his warm welcome, as well as to the entire staff. GrandTour13017794598April 18, 2026Confirmed Great hotel We had a wonderful 4-night stay with our family at the Andersen Boutique Hotel. The hotel is ideally located just a 5-minute walk from the central station. It takes only 13 minutes to get there from the airport! The decor is tasteful, the rooms are lovely, and the breakfast is really good. Thank you to the entire team for their kindness, and a special thank you to that friendly young man from Paris who welcomed us so warmly and provided us with helpful information. Gebra10April 8, 2026Confirmed Perfect âïž A lovely, cozy hotel. Beautiful decor, friendly and helpful staff. Spotless. Comfortable bar area. Great location. Spot on. Carly CApril 6, 2026Confirmed A lovely stay at a beautiful hotel The hotel was so welcoming and accommodating for a family of four; the room was lovely and plenty spacious, and it was a great location from which to explore the city. The complimentary drinks and happy hour were a nice touch and gave the hotel a lovely atmosphere đ SighApril 6, 2026Confirmed A very nice hotel⊠If you prefer large beds, you should book a larger room right away. We stayed here for a total of four nights and spent two nights in a small room facing the street. It had an accessible bathroom. It was quiet, but a bit cramped, and the mattress was a bit too soft and the bed a bit too small for us. The hotel sent us an email asking if we were satisfied, and we replied that we were very satisfiedâexcept that the mattress wasnât suitable for us. As a result, we were given a large room facing the courtyard with a very large bed and better mattresses. Here, the bathroom wasnât accessible because we had a bathtub. It was also very quiet in the room. This room was better for us. So, if you prefer large beds, you should book a larger room right away. Bottom line: We highly recommend the hotel because it has a cozy atmosphere. The design is very nice. The hotel is right near the main train station, and there are many restaurants nearby. You can quickly get to Tivoli and the Glyptothek or to the Hop-On Hop-Off bus stop. The breakfast is very tasty. You can always get fruit, and thereâs always coffee and water. In the afternoon, thereâs free wine. You can really feel safe here. Samantha1974September 16, 2025Confirmed Wonderful boutique hotel I have just returned from a wonderful 3 night break with my mum. This is lovely hotel in a great location. Staff were all so polite and friendly. Plenty of choice at breakfast. The happy hour from 5-6pm was great. You were offered a free glass of wine or soft drink. There were also pastries available. Our room, although small was comfortable. Perfect location, just 5 minute walk to train station. The airport is only 15 minutes, 3 stops away. We also went to Malmö for the day which only takes 40 minutes. Tivoli gardens is only a 10 minute walk away and a must see on a trip to Copenhagen. We will definitely return one day and stay at this wonderful hotel.
