Experience the vibrant
life in Vesterbro

Vesterbro is a lively and different neighborhood with a large selection of restaurants, cafés and bars right in the heart of Copenhagen and close to everything. With just 200 meters to both the metro and Central Station, and Strøget just around the corner, it couldn't be easier.

Originally a working-class neighborhood, today it is considered one of the hippest areas in Copenhagen, where many young people live and hang out, a neighborhood full of urban life and atmosphere.

The Meatpacking District is open to all and is especially known for its many restaurants of high gastronomic character and exciting newly opened galleries. Fall in love with the area, one of the world's few 'real' meat cities, where skilled butchers have worked in the large buildings and run reputable shops for generations.

Vesterbro is also home to many exciting design shops, cozy coffee shops and Værnedamsvej, which is an entire street full of delicacies.

FOR THE CHILDREN

Vesterbro is a great place to visit with children, as it offers a wealth of activities to delight young and old alike. One of the most popular destinations is Enghaveparken, which is a large green area with playgrounds and ball fields. Here children can run around and play while parents can enjoy a relaxing time in the park.

The city is also great for children and we recommend you visit the Zoo or Tivoli Gardens. Both are some of Copenhagen's oldest attractions and always worth a visit for young and old alike.

SHOPPING

Shopping in Vesterbro is an experience in itself, filled with unique shops and exciting finds. The area is known for its trendy and creative shopping venues offering everything from fashion and design to delicacies and specialty goods. One of the most popular shopping streets is Istedgade, which stretches through the heart of Vesterbro. Here you'll find a mix of vintage shops, designer boutiques and cozy cafés that combine to create a lively and inspiring atmosphere.

For those interested in fashion, Vesterbro is a true mecca. Many Danish and international designers have chosen to open stores in the area, making it possible to find both established and upcoming brands. Stores like Samsøe & Samsøe and Wood Wood offer stylish clothes and accessories to suit every wardrobe.
